Paediatric First Aid - Level 3

This two day Paediatric course focuses on emergency scenarios that face those looking after young children and infants, including day nurseries, private nurseries, pre-schools and after school clubs for children in the early years age group.

Understand how to administer first aid to a child or infant who…

  • Has sustained an electric shock
  • Has burns or scalds
  • Has been poisoned
  • Has been bitten or stung
  • Has minor injuries i.e graze, bumps, bruises
  • Conditions affecting eyes, ears and nose
  • Head and spinal injuries
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Suffering from shock

Paediatric First Aid Training

We can offer one-to-one or group Paediatric First Aid Training so vitally important if you are working with small children or infants.  Our dynamic and friendly team can come to you at your workplace or we can arrange training at our very own, especially adapted modern premises. 

Our Paediatric First Aid Course provides interesting and interactive tuition in a friendly environment; building knowledge, skills and confidence so important when working with the young and vulnerable.

The candidate will be under continuous observation by the trainer and have written assessments throughput the course . Those who successfully complete the course will be issued with a certification valid for 3 years. It is also recommended that a 3 hour refresher course is attended every year until renewal.
